Lady Tennessee - Music Video.
This music video for the Brooklyn based indie band, Little Anchor, revolves around a schlocky pageant rehearsal gone horribly awry. The five contestants and their mothers will go to great lengths to be crowned victor.
I can be a VIDEO VIXEN......errrrrrr MOM??? That sounds like fun! SIGN ME UP!!!!
I attended the audition and shortly afterwards my role was confirmed.
The mothers begin to accuse each other. A hand reaches into a purse. Eyes widen. A tomato is pulled out from the purse. It flies through the air and hits SMACK onto the announcer’s face. Punches are being thrown. Tomatoes crushed onto girls’ heads. Hair is being tugged out. The contestants and mothers are crawling and lying and writhing limb to limb on the ground.
OOOOOKKKAAYYYY, I've NEVER done ANYTHING like that, so I KNEW I had to do it and have a BLAST!
Our shoot was in Red Hook, Brooklyn on Easter Sunday. After trading in my Easter eggs for tomatoes , I spent the holiday with my new "on screen daughter", actress Jocelyn Roux, the production crew, the band, and the other wonderful tomato tossing ladies. Here are some photos we shot in-between takes...
